SPORT, TOURS AND ENTERTAINMENT
For all lovers of sports holidays Kefalonia offer different activities to play not get bored during your stay.
SEA
The largest beaches of the island as Skala, Makris Yialos, Platys  Gialos and Xi give the possibility to practice water sports, water skiing or kayaking.
For diving lovers, there is the possibility to rely on a diving center to admire the underwater Kefalonia World and visit the numerous dive spots.
For those who are not equipped with diploma are lots of beaches and bays where snorkeling is very nice because the sea is so clean that the underwater visibility is impressive.
If you are a fishing enthusiast, there are many fishing villages and many good areas where to fish surrounded by the nature.
MOUNTAIN
If you want to spend a day in a different way, depart from the sea to discover the island's highest mountain:  Mount Enos (1628 mt).
Forget the usual tourist trail and visit archaeological sites, old villages, ancient ruins, caves, ancient tombs and local architecture.
Enjoy the unspoilt National Park of Mount Enos and meet the wild horses.
Discover the mountain trails and breathtaking views.
In the National Park of Mount Enos there are picnic areas and many paths in which it is easy to get lost, but that will take you in pristine areas where the only sound is that of nature.
EXCURSIONS
For those who want to try then, during the holiday, unusual emotions, the choices are many and range from adventure of a jeep safari in the hinterland, the emotion of a tour by boat or bus organized to bring tourists to discover the wonders of Kefalonia island.
There are several boat tour to reach Ithaca, Skorpio, Meganisi or the nearby island of Zakynthos departing from Kefalonia island.
If you prefer you can rent a boat and in total independence to discover the coastal areas unreachable by car or go on your own to visit Ithaca island.
If you are fond of riding you will have the chance to ride in the special centers, there is one in Skala, but it is not the only one.
You can visit the caves called Drogarati Caves, Melissani Lake, the Monastery of Agios Gerasimos and the castle of Assos and take part in the exploration of geological island.
ENTERTAINMENT
For the evening as an alternative to the pub there are other types of entertainment such as a go-kart race (just outside Argostoli), an evening at a cinema or bowling center just on the main square of the capital.
There are also many festivals and village parties to find out how the Greeks have fun with dancing, music and food.
